Question:
If ever you would have a bit of time, could you help me on lesson 236, update to space/time. It is a subject a bit hard to grasp. There are two sentences that I would need some help to be sure I understand.
-The 6th sentence: So, there is one spot, one atom a reality for each and every person.
-The 25th sentence: But, a moment’s thought would indicate that if space does not exist, time can hardly exist, as for time to exist we need space for it to move into. Otherwise, we would just have a singularity standing in the spot while a clock was ticking away.

Answer from Guy:
It is difficult to understand because we live in a reality with movement and space to move around in and time that keeps ticking by the second.
So, why should we believe that there is no time and space?
Space is a tough one to debate because we see it all with our eyes but time is easy to discuss because time is a human invention. Time is a measurement of the cycle of the sun, however, we know that it is not an accurate measurement because time constantly has to be adjusted to match the cycle of the sun, so, from that, we know that time is but an illusion of the cycle of the sun.
Now, to go deeper into the illusion of time we have to look at the way reality works.
We are told that the way we experience reality is that all of creation is created and destroyed billions or trillions of times a second. This process would create the illusion of movement, time and to some degree space.
Like I mentioned, time is fairly easy to debate because of the concept of creation being created and destroyed and the result is that we see movement and the concept of time because things are moving. It is a lot like those sketches you can make in the bottom corner of a textbook of a stick man running as you flip the pages with your fingers. The pages fly by like the one page is destroyed and the next page is created with the stick man slightly different that the image on the previous page and therefore it looks like the stick man is moving.
The illusion of movement and time.
Space is not easily dealt with in that context, just movement and the illusion of time but, because we believe that we moved with the destruction and creation of reality, we believe that there is space to allow us to move.
Depth is an illusion but exactly how it works I am not sure. It is a trick from our imagination that we believe that the stars are way far away from us but in reality, there are no stars, it is just our imagination presenting us with the image of a star in the nights sky in our minds and our consciousness believes there is a star and we cannot reach out and touch it
So, the key take away in all of this is to understand that our consciousness does not move. We are not moving. We are still and everything moves around us from our imagination to give us the experience of movement.
Creation is destroyed and recreated in our consciousness and it is happening all so fast that we experience it as a seamless series of flash cards in front of our eyes that shows things moving like the stick man running as the pages flip past.
Add in the five senses and our consciousness is consumed and laser focused by the experience and we believe it is all true but it is all happening in our minds from imagination.
Also remember that our consciousness is not part of creation. God is separate from the destruction and creation process.
So, to try and get back to your question, you can translate it as a place rather than a spot but understand that this spot or place has no location that you can point to.
The location of God is not understood as far as I have been told.
I hope this helps but please ask more questions if you have any.
