I asked the Great White Brotherhood about this parallel race, here is their reply.
The name that is given to this race of beings is not important. It is the fact that they exist that is relevant.
We do not wish to discuss this race of beings more than we have as they, themselves, do not want their existence to be known more than they are willing to reveal by themselves.
No doubt, as humanity evolves and becomes more peaceful, they will be willing to reveal their existence more but, as they do not wish to attract negative attention to themselves, they remain apart from our society.
We respect their right to privacy and will not say more about them.
