Breaking The Connection To Physicality

Comment:
Hi Bob,

Just wanted to send you a quick message, letting you know my recent meditation experience.

While I was meditating a wave of sensation came over my entire body and my body actually felt very numb and I felt as though my body was dissolving.

I didn’t feel like I was going to Astral Project at all, it just felt like my body was dissolving.
I didn’t have the usual signs of AP, I didn’t get the paralysis, I didn’t feel the strong vibrations or pulsations, and I didn’t hear the loud noise in my ears. I just slowly felt my body going numb and it felt like it was just dissolving.

It stayed like that for quite some time and originally, before I knew what was going on, I felt and thought that I had shifted somewhere. I actually thought to myself, I think I just went somewhere, I wonder where I am, but I could not see anything and I could not hear anything.
I still felt like I was right where I was meditating but something felt different and then that is when my entire body was going numb and it just felt like my body was disappearing.

Where I was going and what was happening, I really don’t know.

Anyway, that was certainly a new experience, I have not felt like that before.
It was a great feeling.

I slowly stopped feeling numb until I was back to “normal”.

Then, a very intense feeling of pressure was in my head for quite awhile. Then that slowly went away and I came out of my meditation.

So, a new experience in meditation, what it meant and where it could lead I have no idea.

I asked the Great White Brotherhood about your experience.
Here is their answer:

During meditation, we can experience a number of effects.

The mind is a multi-layered part of us so we can switch on any one of a number of aspects of it.

In this case, it appears that he entered a part of his mind that had little or no connection to the brain, the link to physicality.
This resulted in his physical aspects being ‘rejected’ for want of a better word.
In other words, he lost all, or most, connection to physicality for a while and became pure spirit, rather as is our state in the after-life.

However, this was only one aspect of many alternative dimensions or realities that one can experience.

So, he lost his connection to physicality but did not go on to replace that loss with an alternative reality.
No doubt he will experience that one day.

End of message from the GWB.

So, from what I understood, you entered the spiritual realms for a while and your brain let go of your connection to physicality.

You will experience many variations of this concept over time, some more dramatic than others.

Thanks Bob,

I do appreciate you asking the GWB about that experience, it certainly resonates with what I felt.

I can’t confirm that is what happened, but it certainly felt like my body was being dissolved. The problem was that I did not see anything or hear anything else, so as far as I was concerned, I was still in my house meditating. I did think initially that I went somewhere, but there were no images or different sounds or anything abnormal.

So, I am glad that I was able to do that, but I have no idea how I did it or if I was assisted by guide(s).

We shall see how this affects anything in the future.

I think that we are always assisted when meditating so, no doubt, your guides helped you with that experience.

I’ve been through a lot of experiences like that and they are wonderful.

However, as you know, you may go back to your old way of meditating. If this happens, don’t be disappointed – that is the way that meditation works – sometimes exceptional, sometimes banal.

One day, you will be swept into an area which is totally different to anything you have previously encountered.
You will suddenly find yourself in a place where everything is different.
You will find yourself, during meditation, in a place where all colors are much brighter than on Earth, where sounds are so clear that it is as if you have spent all your life with shades over your eyes, muffles over your ears.

This will continue until you say to yourself ‘Where on Earth am I.’
Then it stops and you find yourself back into normal meditation.

It is very frustrating.

The trick is to not react, if you can, but just let the experience unfold.
This is almost impossible to do.

But, when it happens to you, be prepared.
