The Great White Brotherhood gave us a lesson about intelligence, this lesson will be intelligence part two.
Message from the Great White Brotherhood:
In a previous discussion, we gave an overview of intelligence and suggested that all the answers to any problems could be found by linking to the answers contained in the higher self.
However, as anyone who has the ability to think, will realize there is more to intelligence than just digging out answers from a store of questions and answers.
For instance, it has been suggested that justice is blind and is represented by a blindfolded figure holding a pair of scales.
This is a very apt representation of the justice system in many countries.
On one hand, we have a crime and on the other a statute book, prescribing punishments for any crime.
If it is considered that a person is guilty of a crime, the judge turns to the appropriate page in the statute book and reads the punishment.
So, a judge does not need much intelligence to pronounce a sentence for a proven crime.
In a similar fashion, if a person has the ability to contact his higher self, which might be considered to be a sort of statute book, for any problem, he locates the answer, applies it in his life and solves the problem.
But once again, we don’t need much intelligence in order to read from higher self, the answer to any problem, it suffices to identify a problem, locate the answer and the problem is solved.
It may have taken the original person or persons, billions of years ago, intelligence to puzzle out the answer to any problem but that answer is now readily available and it suffices to be able to contact the higher self in order to locate an answer.
So not much intelligence is actually required.
Yet clearly, intelligence does exist and we have it in varying degrees, some more than others.
This talk will be devoted to discovering what intelligence really is and if it exists, where it is contained in the makeup of life, particularly man.
We have often attempted to describe the complex makeup of any living object and as all is alive, we could describe any object and it would be the same as any other object, as all is one but we will concentrate on the construction of man because that is what interests most people.
Before we start to investigate what intelligence is and where it is contained, let us first clarify a few points, life is very complicated and even the wisest of us have only a tenuous grasp of most of the elements that constitute a living human.
Also, we cannot and will not attempt to describe all the parts that constitute man because it would fill an encyclopedia and very few people would understand some of the elements.
We will admit, that even the most knowledgeable of us really do not have a full grasp of all the aspects of life.
Indeed, we feel that there must still be areas that remain unquantified by us.
So, to keep this talk within reasonable boundaries, we will limit our exploration of intelligence to just a few aspects, that we hope you might be familiar with or at least, that you might have heard of, even if you do not have a deep understanding of them.
We have spoken of gods, growing in wisdom from the cogitations of man, past, present and future.
We have mentioned the life force, the ID, Higher Self, the imagination, plane, mind and brain.
We gave the impression in our previous talk, that the higher self contained the answers to all the questions that could possibly puzzled man and if we could contact Higher Self, it could provide us with the answers to any problem.
This is true.
But if we think about life, there is more to it than just solving problems.
It is very helpful, if when confronted with a problem, we can obtain within a very short space of time, an answer to that problem but it must be obvious, as we explained earlier, having a source that provides answers to problems has very little to do with intelligence.
Also, much of what we seek to understand is not related to problem solving as such but relates to having intelligence to think through subjects.
But if we can constantly have access to solutions to problems, it does speed up the process of getting answers.
How often have we seen people when confronted to something that they do not understand, refuse to consider information outside of their field of knowledge?
We could use, as an example, matters connected to religion.
There are a number of people who do not understand esoteric matters and so, tend to ignore any and all events that occur that are outside of what religion has taught them, instead of considering what we teach as being a reasonable means of opening the doors to finding answers.
If it is not referenced directly in the literature of their religion, they reject what we teach and brand us as fallen angels.
So, we can see a link, if we wish to solve a problem, from the nature of the problem and our willingness to accept divine as bits of knowledge in order to solve that problem.
We mentioned some religious people refusing to consider esoteric matters in order to clarify a question.
We often see the same with either scientists or archaeologists refusing to consider information readily available in the higher self to help science progress or to understand the true nature of Earth’s history.
Indeed, in the case of history, any artifact discovered that does not readily fit into the pattern of accepted history is deemed to be an anomaly and the object dismissed and hidden in the basement of whatever Museum, it ends up in
We find also, unfortunately, that any archaeologist that questions accepted history, being mocked and any influence that he or she might have removed and his or her career destroyed all because some people in power over a subject, refuse to question accepted fact.
So, we can see, that if we have a closed mind, intelligence goes out of the window, if we may use this expression because if a strange object or a strange fact appears, it must fit into history somewhere.
If we are intelligent, we would at least consider where the newly discovered objects or information comes from and if it does or does not have a place in history, to refuse to discuss or consider new information demonstrates a lack of intelligence.
Why should archaeologists be so closed minded?
Do they not have intelligence?
If we really examine the motives of some archaeologists, we might come to the conclusion that what causes them to reject new information is fear.
We would find the same with deeply religious people, they are afraid of disturbing their long held beliefs with new information.
Fear is, unfortunately, what is behind the actions of many people in powerful positions.
Fear that the opinions they hold, which has helped them get into those positions, may not be entirely true.
So, they shut their minds and use their influence to keep any new knowledge firmly suppressed.
Thus, they remain the accepted world’s experts on any subject.
The trouble is that deep down, we all know intuitively, that what is considered knowledge on any subject is just the tip of the iceberg and inevitably, as we explore more facets of life, we will discover more anomalies and the truth about life will become harder to suppress.
Why are we mentioning all this?
What has what we are mentioning to do with intelligence?
The answer is that open mindedness, coupled with fearlessness to investigate matters, is a close partner to intelligence.
We cannot, in an impartial manner, investigate any subject, if we are in the grips of fear over what our investigations might reveal.
Jesus once said; Seek and ye shall find, he was referring to spirituality but his saying can apply to almost any circumstance but so often, if individuals or committees are charged with investigating any subject, fear of what they may find, causes them to create distorted conclusions.
This might be called cunning.
As we had said, true intelligence should be used to assist others.
In the case under discussion, investigation of any subject should be done fearlessly and openly, allowing the evidence to take us where it leads and allow our conclusions to assist all mankind or animals and plants for that matter.
Fear creates falsehoods in the hopes of deceiving people, for personal reasons, could be considered cunning but if our interpretation of intelligence, that it should help others is correct, then such people are not expressing intelligence, there is a difference between cunning and intelligence and that difference we have stated, cunning is for self advantage or self interest and intelligence ignores self and aims to assist others to progress in whatever domain is being investigated.
So, if we go back to the beginning of the first talk we gave, we cited animals using something to get a tid bit of food or to escape a cage, you will notice that these actions were selfish, aimed exclusively with assisting that animal and not any other.
So, we will put these actions under the heading cunning.
We do not particularly like the word cunning but it does express actions taken for self advantage, as opposed to helping others.
In general use, it does not normally apply to intelligence but it is particularly, in the case of humans, a term that applies when what we hope might be intelligence is used for self advantage.
So, we draw a distinct line between actions taken for self advantage and actions taken for the help of all life.
One we call cunning and the other intelligence; we draw this line for a good reason.
Cunning is a purely physical action and is generated by the part of the brain that deals with self preservation, fight or flight whereas intelligence is a spiritual attribute, not connected to the brain, except when physical action is required.
Intelligence is not fear based, cunning is.
Intelligence links to that part of life that links all life together as one.
It is selfless, as opposed to selfish.
Intelligence seeks no reward, above and beyond helping others.
If the person, through his selfless acts, becomes recognized, that is life rewarding a selfless person.
But the person himself seeks no reward, no fame, he merely shares his intelligence with whomever will listen to him.
Intelligence is a spiritual in nature, it is not contained in the brain, which is physical.
Nor is it contained in the various non-physical parts, that life generally uses Higher Self imagination or mind.
Intelligence is actually connected to our genes, which is our DNA, not the genes measured in the physical body, but the so-called junk genes, that actually are so important to all life, these genes are actually closely connected to every part of us, that constitutes what we are and without these rather ignored genes, the so-called junk genes, life could not be.
So, the genetic structure of life creates our intelligence.
This may seem strange, because we tend to think of genes as being the building blocks of life and that is all, in fact, the hidden or junk genes are of vital importance, and we use the word vital advisedly, as being necessary to the creation or continuation of life.
So, it is our genetic structure in the non-physical worlds that come together and not only make us but creates our level of intelligence also.
It is the structure of these genes that gives one person greater intelligence than another and particularly in the case of animals our higher degree of intelligence than most animals.
We refer to intelligence, not cunning, the fight and flight aspect within most animals.
Now, there is no organ in which intelligence is stored.
It is the coming together of all our non-physical genes, that creates intelligence.
We have explained in the book on genes we gave you, that non-physical genes permeate every aspect of life, including all the dimensions and these genes, as they react to our experiences in life, change and grow or decline.
You may remember us telling you that life is created, destroyed, and then recreated again, with a slightly altered genetic structure, billions of times a second.
At those moments of genetic change, we can seize the opportunity to advance or decline our intelligence.
Now, we repeat what we have previously stated, the directors of life, at the moment when all is destroyed and recreated, change slightly, the genetic structure of all that is physical, but leave us to alter or not, the genetic structure of the non-physical parts with most things, minerals, plants, animals, etc, very little or no change to the non-physical aspects occur due to the fact that most life is entrapped in the fight or flight syndrome.
But in the case of humans, if we so desire, we can effect change to the non-physical aspects, by acts of will, by understanding that the non-physical aspects are indeed connected to spirituality, which is a non-physical event, by acts of will of desire, we can raise or lower intelligence.
This of course implies that we have an overriding aspect capable of altering intelligence, the overriding aspect is our ID.
We will not discuss the ID in this talk, except to say, it is, in a way, the real us this is not exactly true as we are more complicated than that.
It suffices to say, that we have, to a certain degree, control of our intelligence and can alter it.
But to alter intelligence implies knowing that we can, most people do not know this and so, they do not try.
Others follow courses that improve memory but very few know the secret of improving intelligence and yet it is simple.
Having a vast knowledge of a number of subjects, by having studied them, languages, history, science and any other subject that interests us is a help because we can draw on these subjects if and when we are discussing things with others.
But at the end of the day, we are really hoping to become wise.
Wisdom, as we have said, is mixing knowledge and intelligence with spirituality.
We could quote Jesus, Buddha and various other well known figures, as wise.
What they did to become wise, was to study many things before incarnating and then mixing that knowledge with a great knowledge of spirituality.
Spirituality, as we have said, opens the door to access to the higher self.
However, it does more than that, it raises our overall frequency and allows that frequency, eventually, to correspond to the spiritual frequencies in the high dimensions.
Once again, this is more allegorical than fact but is, in essence, true.
As we rise in frequency, so we align ourselves to more of the God power or frequency.
We consider God to be all knowing, all intelligent, and every other positive attribute.
So, by rising in frequency, we become more attuned to high knowledge and have higher intelligence, we become more God like.
Becoming more spiritual is simple;
1. Meditation.
2. Pray to God, thanking him for all the blessings he gives you each and every day.
3. By helping all life when appropriate.
These three simple acts, will in time, open the doors to wisdom.
We have explained how to do these acts in a number of our publications and should you desire to become a wiser, better person, we encourage you to practice these three acts, study and digest the information we give you and above all, learn to love yourself and to love all life as much as you love yourself.
Then you will become more intelligent and become a better person, eventually becoming wise.
It is not hard and becomes a pleasure.
As your knowledge improves, your ability to understand the esoteric aspects of life as you align yourself with the great saints.
You can develop the gifts of the spirit, explore safely the astral worlds, protected by guides and fill yourself with satisfaction that you have access to all the mysteries of life.
Rising in spirituality is the key to all this and rising in spirituality is done by meditation, thanking God for all his blessings and by helping all life.
These three simple acts will transform your life in time, completely.
Patience and dedication are required but many have succeeded before you so you can succeed also.
