Life As A Long Apprenticeship

The nervous breakdown that I experienced, can come from the drastic changes that occur when the ego starts to get swept away and the spirit force has not yet replaced it. We are “empty” and it causes a lot of trauma.

That is why I suggested to take things slowly and do not push spirituality.

Of course, we all feel like we can’t wait for our incarnation to end when we read of the wonders of heaven but remember, these elevated spheres are reserved for those who merit them by dint of much service to God.
Therefore, we must see our life as a long apprenticeship, that will enable us to claim our reward eventually.

We must earn our place in the light spheres by dint of “tempering the soul on the anvil of service” as one of my guides once said.
Anyone who does not do this would not merit such a beautiful place.
Equally, if someone really does a lot of service, he will rise to even higher realms.

We should consider this as an encouragement to serve God as much as we can so that our place in heaven is assured.

If we pass our lives doing as much good as possible and as little harm, our place is assured.

I think that anyone who has lived for a while, has skeletons in his cupboard.
I spoke to Dr Latimer about this once and he said that, if we were perfect, there would be no point in incarnating.
The very fact that we have incarnated – and this includes all of the many members of the Great White Brotherhood – implies that, before we came here our souls slept.

We come here to wake our souls up.

However, we are the lucky ones. Our souls are now awake and we know what we have to do – serve God by serving all life.
Providing that we do this to the best of our abilities from this day forward, we will be alright.
We need to pray for those whose souls still sleep and, especially, for those involved with egocentric practices, like many politicians, bankers and so on.
