Hi Bob,
I am still confused on the aspect of the statement “we create our own reality”.
There is something missing from that statement for me to fully grasp it. Because to me, that statement is all inclusive and to me, my reality shows that it is not.
I think a clue to it is from your guides, from these sentences:
Living things appear to have much in common with each other but it is by common agreement.
Someone decides to link with his family and friends and they decide to link with that person so they appear to share the same space and time.
If that person decides not to link anymore with someone, that someone disappears from the person’s reality.
There must be something to this link and agreement, that causes our reality to not be totally what we want, whenever we want, individually. Because we are all linked, causes our realities to mix together or something.
I totally agree that if we decide to eliminate something from our lives it can be eliminated, but I think there must be this agreement because if only I think it should disappear, then it may not.
As an example of where this worked in my life, my former best friend and I have not seen or spoke to one another for years. I never hear or see anything about him, it is as if he has totally disappeared. So, for this example I can agree and we both must have had this “agreement” to sever our “link”.
However, I have many more examples of where this is not happening. So, either my lack of knowledge is hindering me from grasping this concept or there is something missing. I can accept that both may be the case.

I have been trying to understand the point you made about reality – creating our own reality and changing it at will. I am not sure that I got anywhere.
The only thing that I got during the night was this.
I received a picture of someone sitting on the ground with his back to a bright light. Thus, he was looking at the deep shadow cast by his body blocking the light.
Then he turned and was facing the bright light.
Now, I can understand the metaphor of living in darkness or living in light but what that has to do with creating our own reality, I am not sure.
Maybe if I just write for a moment some sense will come out of it.
Here goes.
Certainly, if we work for a company and we don’t want to work there anymore, we can just leave and never put foot in the place again.
But if, for example, we are sentenced to a term in prison, we must go through that sentence and cannot make it disappear by using just our will.
However, we can change our attitude towards it.
We can resent every moment of the time spent in prison or we can accept that it is of no consequence and just accept that it is part of life for the moment.
Now, we will, in both cases, be behind bars but our attitude to incarceration would be completely different.
In that fashion, it is either a terrible deprivation of liberty or, by accepting that we must be somewhere, whether we are one side of the bars or the other, makes no difference. Indeed, it could be a useful life experience.
You probably know by now that there is a spiritual message that says that “If we see a fault in someone, it is because we have that same fault in ourselves.”
That is because all is one.
We are one person, pretending to be many. Therefore, if we find fault with someone it is because we are actually identifying that we have the fault.
So, logically, if you can accept someone as you would like yourself to be accepted, the fault that you see in them would disappear and you could live in peace with them.
Perhaps a part of this concept of changing realities lies here.
If we change ourselves, everything changes and, although the person or situation does not disappear, your annoyance it does. Thus, there will be a change. You will no longer feel annoyed every time.
Please do not think I am criticizing you; I am not. I am just thinking aloud.
Certainly, Jesus said a number of things that dealt with changing ourselves: “We can’t see the speck in someone’s eye for the beam in our eye. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone, and so on.”
