Many years ago, when the theosophical society was first created, there was a gentleman called Charles Leadbeater who was a founder member and a very noble person and the Great White Brotherhood worked with the theosophical society through this gentleman as the original aims of the theosophical society and the aims of the Great White Brotherhood were very similar.
As you may know, Madame Blavatsky was a very strange person, a bit like the curate’s egg, good in parts.
But the Great White Brotherhood gave the theosophical society the benefit of the doubt and worked with them for a while.
But, eventually, the founder members died and the theosophical society was turned into the commercial organisation that exists to this day.
When this happened, the Great White Brotherhood withdrew their help.
Now, Madame Blavatsky was a very strange person but it is not my place to criticize her, nor the theosophical society.
Suffice to say that the GWB no longer works with them.
