I prefer not to learn from others, in case it influences the way I “hear” things from the guides.
If I know nothing or very little on a topic, what I do receive must come from a guide but if I already know about the topic, I might use my mind to get info, thinking that it is coming from a guide whereas, in reality, it might be my mind talking to me.
That happens to a lot of people who think that they are channeling a guide, whereas, in fact, it is just their mind talking to them.
It is sometimes hard to tell the difference.
