Here is what the GWB said about this disc.
“The Phaistos disc was created some hundreds (see comment below!) of years ago in order to explain a small piece to do with the creation of the cosmos.
In fact, there were a number of these discs created, each one could be considered like chapters from a book. All the other discs together making up the book.
Most of them have been destroyed over time and, so far, this one disc is all that has been found.
Obviously, without all the other discs, this one disc is not of much interest as a historical document.”
That is all the GWB said.
I queried the word “hundreds” because scientists talk in terms of thousands of years but the GWB insisted on saying “hundreds”.
